Quickly install / uninstall telnet client on Windows 7

If you use the telnet client to verify port connectivity on servers, a quick way to install the telnet client on a Windows 7 computer (it isn’t installed by default) is by opening an elevated command prompt and entering the following commands:-

Install

start /w pkgmgr /iu:TelnetClient

Uninstall

start /w pkgmgr /uu:TelnetClient
